Footnote Coffee and Cocktails

Taiki Azuma, Saxophone; and friends

Warm, expressive, and effortlessly versatile, the saxophone brings a rich palette of sound to the intimate setting of Footnote Coffee & Cocktails. Drawing on backgrounds that span classical, jazz, and contemporary styles, the ensemble showcases the remarkable range of the saxophone family, from the velvety depth of the baritone to the brilliance of the soprano.

This program moves fluidly between genres and moods, offering everything from lyrical melodies to rhythmically vibrant selections, all delivered with precision and a sense of easy camaraderie. Much like the atmosphere of Footnote itself, the quartet’s music invites listeners to settle in, sip slowly, and savor the moment.
