PWS Fellowship Program

Supporting Emerging Artists

The PWS Fellowship Program provides young musicians with meaningful professional development opportunities alongside Piedmont Wind Symphony musicians and guest artists.

Fellows gain valuable experience through rehearsals, performances, mentorship, and artistic collaboration within a professional ensemble environment. The program is designed to help emerging artists strengthen their skills, build professional connections, and gain real-world performance experience.

PWS Conduct Program

Developing Future Conductors

The PWS Conduct Program offers aspiring conductors opportunities to develop their craft through hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional artistic training.

Participants work closely with PWS artistic leadership and musicians while gaining practical experience in rehearsal techniques, score study, ensemble leadership, and performance preparation. The program is designed to help emerging conductors build confidence, refine their artistic voice, and develop the skills necessary for success in today’s musical landscape.

The Conduct Program provides opportunities for:

• Conducting mentorship and instruction

• Rehearsal and podium experience

• Score preparation and musical analysis

• Professional artistic development
